Fun Facts

  • One of my favorite work compliments came from one of bosses (who is a business guy, not a psychologist). He said to me one day that I’m “not like any of the other psychologists” he’s ever met, and he’s worked with many as his employees and clients. What he meant by that was referring to my sales/marketing and business mindset, and willingness to network.

  • I’ve believed in the principles of “lifestyle medicine” ever since I was a teen, which was long before the term got coined. Then, I lost a family member around that time to what I believe was largely caused by lifestyle and diet-related factors. When I first heard about lifestyle medicine in 2018, I immediately jumped into the field, and finally found a professional organization with like-minded people who shares the same vision I’ve had since my mid/late teen years.

  • One of my first jobs was selling knives, yes that direct-sales job that probably many people of a certain generation either did or dodged. Surprisingly, I did pretty well, and it was not only a very valuable lesson in the foundation of sales/marketing strategies, it also helped me to come out of my shyness and gain some confidence.

  • I’m an animal lover, especially dogs, and also love fashion! So if I say hi to your dog first, please don’t be offended!
